Byzantine Hagiography of Saint Andrew.<\/p>\n
Saint Andrew was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and brother of Peter.<\/p>\n
He was born in Bethsaida, in the ancient world of Palestine. According to the New Testament, he followed Jesus and preached Christianity after the Stavrian. He is considered the patron saint of many countries, including Greece, and his feast day is celebrated on November 30.<\/p>\n
Saint Andrew is associated with the spread of Christianity and is considered an important figure in the Christian tradition.<\/p>\n
