Byzantine Hagiography of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity and the Son of God, who was born in the 1st century in Bethlehem and lived in Palestine.
Jesus Christ is the incarnation of the Trinity God. His teaching followed the Hellenistic philosophical tradition of his time, with parables and practical miracles. Christianity has been founded on these teachings and on the martyred life of Jesus Christ
Hagiography occupies an important place in church art due to its self-evident artistic value. In addition to this, a hagiographic image connects man with the holiness of the person depicted.
All our Hagiographies are painted with egg tempera while you can choose the size of the image, the decoration of the background and the language of the inscriptions as well as the type of wood you wish to use.
