Byzantine Hagiography of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, a key figure of Christianity, lived in the 1st century and was born in Bethlehem.
He is the Son of God, who came into the world to save people from sin and offer eternal life. Christ taught love, hope and forgiveness. His death on the Cross and Resurrection are the central event of the Christian faith, teaching hope in eternal life.
Hagiography occupies an important place in church art due to its self-evident artistic value. In addition to this, a hagiographic image connects man with the holiness of the person depicted.
All our Hagiographies are painted with egg tempera while you can choose the size of the image, the decoration of the background and the language of the inscriptions as well as the type of wood you wish to use.
